Verita Psychiatry is currently out-of-network with all insurance plans. We're a self-pay practice, meaning payment is collected at the time of your visit. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits, and we'll provide a superbill after each appointment that you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.

Our initial psychiatric evaluation (75 minutes) is $350. Follow-up appointments range from $150 to $250 depending on the time scheduled. We're committed to transparent pricing — no surprise bills.

We accept credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and Zelle. Payment is due at the time of service.

A superbill is a detailed receipt we provide after each visit. It includes your diagnosis codes, procedure codes, provider information, and service details — everything your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. Apps like Reimbursify can help you submit it quickly.

Yes. Telehealth services are available in accordance with Virginia law. You must be physically located in Virginia at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Verita is physician-owned, which means care decisions are made by Dr. Roy, not a corporate structure. She takes a collaborative, whole-life approach, focusing on more than symptom management and working with each patient as a full person.
